Wincanton Businesses Together (WBT) is the coming together of local businesses who are interested in promoting a healthy and growing business community. We realise that to have a healthy business community we must become involved with and cater for the needs of the residential community as a whole. The purpose of WBT is to work with, and be a voice for all our local businesses, be they retailers, service providers, or manufacturers. We work with local, regional and national bodies to tackle the issues that are important to the businesses of our community. We take an active role in promoting the businesses of our members, and our community by getting to know them and discovering what their needs are. As we discover needs we do our best to help fill the needs, where appropriate by arramnging semnars and traininf locally, or by finding access to such events throughout our region, with the support of our local authorities and business association contacts. Our annual Christmas Extravaganza has become a successful event geared to bringing the residents and many visitors to our High Street for Christmas Shopping. Each year the event evolves and we are continually lookimng for new ideas. We are also looking to balance this by holding events at other times of the year.
